Languages of Study at the Private Establishment of Higher Education “Kharkiv Institute of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences”
Instruction at the Institute is conducted in the national language (Ukrainian) as well as in English (or other foreign languages) to ensure international academic mobility. When certain disciplines are taught in English and/or other foreign languages to Ukrainian citizens, the Institute is obligated to ensure that these students also acquire knowledge of the respective discipline in the national language. The decision to offer courses in foreign languages and the list of such languages is within the competence of the Academic Council of the Institute.
For teaching disciplines in foreign languages, the Institute forms separate groups for ukrainian and foreign citizens, who wish to pursue higher education at their own expense, or develops individual programs. Additionally, the Institute ensures that these individuals study Ukrainian language as a separate discipline.
