LIFE IN KHARKIV

A distinctive feature of Kharkiv is the spacious squares, among which the largest in Ukraine and one of the largest in Europe - Square of Freedom . It is really huge. It regularly hosts concerts, flash mobs, festivals and sporting events. Every year the square is adorned with a Christmas tree, a fairy-tale town and a free open-air skating rink. In 2008, the legendary Queen band was heard live in this square and saw a record number of people in the history of the group - more than 300,000 people.

Trolleybuses, trams, minibuses, comfortable buses and three metro lines provide connections between different parts of the city. An electronic ticket system has been introduced in transport. The journey by public transport, even from remote corners to the center, train station, bus station and airport takes no more than 40 minutes.

Long-distance and international communication

You can get to any part of the country by train in one night from Kharkiv.
Kharkiv Airport is the largest in Eastern Ukraine, with about 1 million passengers. Airlines such as UIA, Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, LOT, Belavia, AZUR Air Ukraine, Bravo Airways, Ellinair, UmAir, Wizz Air, Yanair fly here. The modern compact air hub with affordable prices for services, charging for electric vehicles and long-term parking for cars in 2016 was included in the list of the best European airports according to the international council ACI EUROPE.
