World Mental Health Day

October 10, since 1992, is World Mental Health Day. According to WHO statistics, more than 450 million people on the planet suffer from mental illness. In Ukraine, it is more than 1 million people and this figure is constantly growing.
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a significant increase in mental illness this year. The topic of World Mental Health Day 2020 – “Mental Health for All” – refers to the creation of favorable conditions for the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders by governmental organizations.
According to doctors, mental health is affected by a number of factors: heredity, information and emotional overload, political and economic cataclysms in the country, difficulties in personal life, conflict situations at work, domestic problems, unhealthy lifestyle and more.
