Main Campus

Our beautiful main campus is located in the historic center of Kharkiv, just a few minutes' walk from the city's main attractions, including libraries, museums, parks, and shopping centers. Kharkiv is a vibrant and attractive city, renowned as a hub for students and young people.
Students at the Institute benefit from a unique academic environment with numerous educational institutions nearby. This proximity allows for rich academic interactions and numerous opportunities for student well-being. Theoretical training takes place in the main campus buildings and other educational facilities. Classrooms and lecture halls are equipped with Wi-Fi, advanced audiovisual systems, computers, and multimedia equipment.
The Institute provides all necessary conditions for training medical specialists at a European level.

Simulation Center

The Simulation Center at the Private Establishment of Higher Education “Kharkiv Institute of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences” is where theory meets practice. We are proud of our Simulation Center, which meets international standards and provides students with the best learning conditions. Equipped with the most advanced simulators and medical equipment, it helps students hone their skills in conditions that closely mimic real-life scenarios. Students can work with patient simulators, perform complex medical procedures, and learn to make the right decisions in stressful situations.
Moreover, students from different specialties have the opportunity to learn teamwork, which fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and experience sharing.
Our graduates are well-prepared for any challenges they may face in their professional careers, equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality medical care.

Associated Clinics

Practical training for the Institute's students is conducted at clinical bases affiliated with leading healthcare and research institutions in Kharkiv, as well as in inpatient hospitals. These settings provide students with the opportunity to examine patients and practice using diagnostic equipment. Bedside training in hospital wards is carried out following professional ethical standards, under the guidance of experienced doctors working at KHIM. Only up to two students can work with a single patient at a time.
During these sessions, students acquire clinical skills, conduct clinical examinations, interview patients, familiarize themselves with medical documentation and the rules for its completion, and learn to operate modern medical equipment. All clinical work is conducted in accordance with the standards of medical care provision.
