Professional Journey:
In 2000 Oksana Degtyaryova graduated from Kharkiv State Medical University, obtaining a full higher education degree in “General Medicine” and earning the qualification of a physician. From 2001 to 2003 she worked as an intern and later as a clinical resident at the Department of Hospital Therapy and Clinical Pharmacology at Kharkiv State Medical University. In 2003 she began working as a general practitioner.
From 2003 to 2006 she pursued postgraduate studies at the Acute Myocardial Infarction Department of the L.T. Malaya Therapy Institute of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, where she subsequently worked as a junior researcher until 2011. In 2009 she defended her dissertation “Clinical and Diagnostic Significance of Neopterin in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome” and was awarded the degree of PhD by the specialized academic council of Kharkiv National Medical University.
In 2010 she obtained the qualification of a cardiologist. From 2011 to 2016 she worked as an assistant professor and from 2016 to 2019 she held the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Human Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
