Professional Journey:
In 2014 Olena Kovbasa graduated from the State Institution “Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine” obtaining a full higher education degree in “General Medicine” and earning the qualification of a physician. From 2009 to 2014 she worked as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics at the State Institution “Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.” In 2016 she obtained the specialty of an orthopedic-traumatologist.
From 2019 to 2022 she held the position of assistant at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics at the State Institution “Dniprovsk State Medical University”. In 2020 she earned her PhD in Medicine with a dissertation on “Implantation Characteristics of the Acetabulum in Hip Replacement for Patients with Dysplastic Coxarthrosis.”
In 2020 she was appointed as a lecturer at the Department of Clinical Disciplines at the Private Higher Education Institution “Dnipro Institute of Medicine and Public Health”. Since 2022 she has been working as an associate professor at the Private Higher Education Institution “DIMZ.”
Since 2023 she has been the Head of the Department of Clinical Disciplines at the Private Higher Education Institution “Kharkiv Institute of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences”.
Participation in Public Organizations: she is a member of the Dnipro branch of the All-Ukrainian Public Organization “Association of Orthopedists-Traumatologists of Ukraine”.
