The administration of the Kharkiv Institute of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, headed by President Anton Smirnov, held an online meeting of staff and students. More than 80% of students from all over the world joined the meeting.
The main topic of the meeting was the organization of the educational process and further decisions in martial law. Anton Smirnov emphasized that:
✅The administration of the Institute is working to restore the educational process, and in the near future classes will begin online.
✅Students, despite the fighting in the city of Kharkiv, remain students, and their right to education will not be violated.
✅Information on changing the schedule or possible cancellation of integrated licensing exams will be communicated to students when appropriate decisions are made.
✅The staff of the Institute must perform their duties and work remotely until the situation is resolved.
In addition, a number of issues of concern to staff and students were discussed.

Every graduate of the Study Program “Medicine” of the Kharkiv Institute of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences leaves with a duty to be a change agent in society.
